Habitats and Life History
Habitats:
Most of our records come from areas where Cottonwoods are common, including brownwater river floodplains in the Outer Coastal Plain. One record comes from a barrier island, where willows seem more likely to be the host, and one comes from a high elevation summit where Bigtooth Aspen is present.
Larval Host Plants:
Larvae feed on poplars (Wagner, 2005) -
